With college came a plethora of experiences both within the classroom and outside. My skills grew as I completed numerous Technical Writing courses including Business Writing, Science Writing and Client Based Writing. Additionally, I gained tremendous experience as a writing consultant for the UI Writing Center.

While enrolled in each class, I worked on projects aimed to imitate real world events such as crafting an informative video for new employees, writing memos regarding intercommunication within businesses, and working along side a local nonprofit assisting them in their grant application.

During my four years as an undergraduate student, I gained more insight into the working world through a variety of jobs and internships. Throughout my undergrad I worked as a writing consultant and tutor at the University's Writing Center helping students and faculty with all parts of the writing process. During the summer, I was hired as a marketing intern by the Saint Alphonsus Rehabilitation Services marketing team. There I crafted monthly newsletters, wrote blog posts and information pamphlets.

After working diligently to receive a Bachelor of Arts in English with an emphasis in Professional Writing, I joined the Merakite LLC team as a copywriter in Boise, ID. As a copywriter, I craft social media captions, articles and blogs for an array of clients.
